There are no bodies at the Titanic wreck…except maybe one.

His name was Jonathan Shepard. He broke his leg during the sinking and was left behind in the pump room when everything fell apart around him. He never made it out.

Remains don’t survive at that depth. But shoes do. Personal effects do. If you sent a camera down to that pump room today, you’d almost certainly find exactly that, the outline of a man preserved in the objects he was wearing when the water came rushing in.
