Maldives Diving Incident Remains a Mystery So Far

The Maldives diving accident gets more puzzling by the da as more information comes to light

What made them dive nearly double the recreational limit without proper equipment? Why were 4 of them found in the third and farthest cave chamber and how did they end up there?

Did they mean to dive this deep? Or did something else happen?
