Can Uber Get Immunity From Victims Medical Bills

This is a real state ballot initiative in CA proposed by Uber. If passed, not only does this mean victims won’t be fully reimbursed for medical bills, but it becomes economically unfeasible for lawyers to represent clients for many of these cases. So while the bill doesn’t explicitly block lawsuits, it effectively protects Uber by reducing their liability, and effectively preventing some lawsuits from ever happening. #ad
